Personally, I think this is one of the most beautiful train routes in the world; it starts off at Vancouver, giving travelers extraordinary sights of magnificent mountains, craggy valleys, lush forests and serene lakes as it journeys to Banff.

Don’t get me wrong… I love flights and cars and bus travel but getting across a region or nation on rails is something you definitely want to experience at least once in your lifetime, and these train routes mentioned above will give you some of the most scenic routes in all of US and Canada.
